Katie Hinko
Katie Hinko is a faculty member in physics education research who studies teaching and learning in informal environments, or what physicists typically call “physics outreach”. She is interested in the impact of informal physics programs on the physicists and physics students who facilitate them, the youth and public audiences that engage with them, and the national scale trends in informal physics program development and support. Katie enjoys being out in nature, art, books, and hanging out with her family.
