Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate students intersted in working with PERL on research projects are encouraged to contact any member of the PERL faculty. Our group has a number of research projects for undergradautes for which students may volunteer or earn course credit (through PHY 405). A limited number of paid positions are typically available after one semester of either volunteering or taking course credit.

Doctoral Research

Graduate students interested in exploring research with PERL are encouraged to contact all members of the PERL faculty as we collectively discuss taking on new doctoral students. This includes current and future MSU students.

PHY 905: Physics Education Research

Interested undergraduate and gradaute students are encouraged to take PHY 905: Physics Education Research - a special topics course that surveys the state of the research field. This course will be offered in Spring 2020.
