I’m currently a Physics PhD candidate in here at MSU. Previously, I graduated with a BS & MS in physics and an MEd in Secondary Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). While at UIC I worked on experimental nuclear physics research with the STAR Collaboration at Brookhaven National Lab.
My current interests include studying experiences of life science students in introductory physics. My dissertation is focused on developing relevance as a construct and articulating how we can make physics courses more relevant to those that never plan on becoming physicists.
