Paul Irving

Paul Irving is a faculty member in the physics education research group. He splits his time between curriculum design (P-Cubed and EMP-Cubed introductory courses) and research that focuses on scientific practices. Paul investigates scientific practices from multiple perspectives but with a main emphasis being on their role in identity development and how learning environments can be structured to encourage their development. He is also an unhinged obsessive when it comes to movies and music - but in a nice way.
